FAQ

Frequently asked questions

01What does it mean to valorise a saving?

It means channelling the certified saving to authorised parties that complete its acquisition and valuation within the CAE scheme, in accordance with the process and agreed conditions.

02Can I submit an intervention that has already been completed?

It may be possible if it meets the applicable time and documentary requirements. We need to review dates, invoices, evidence and the starting situation.

03What happens if documentation is missing?

We indicate what evidence is missing and whether it can be remedied. When an essential requirement cannot be certified, the operation may not proceed.

04Does CAE Economía issue the certificate?

We do not claim to replace verifiers, authorised parties or public administrations. Our work is to analyse, calculate, document and coordinate the operation through to the valuation pathway.

05Is there a fixed value per intervention?

No. The value depends on the saving ultimately certified, on validation, and on the acquisition conditions available.

06Which technologies can be analysed?

Among others, HVAC, building envelope, joinery, ventilation and certain generation or energy replacement interventions, always according to the applicable methodology.
